Return & Refunds Policy

This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines the conditions under which products may be returned or refunded by Veltrix Elite Containers. It reflects the industrial nature, size, and logistics of the equipment we supply while remaining fair and transparent to our customers. All policies apply to purchases made and delivered within the United States.

General Return Eligibility

Due to the size and handling requirements of shipping containers and related equipment, returns are limited and conditional. A return may be considered only if:

  • The return request is submitted within 14 calendar days of delivery.
  • The product is unused, unmodified, and in its original delivered condition.
  • The product has not been relocated, altered, or installed.
Returns requested outside this window are not eligible.
To remain eligible, please start your request within 14 days of delivery and keep the unit in its delivered condition.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Custom-built or modified containers.
  • Refrigerated containers once powered or commissioned.
  • Containers sold as As-Is or Project Grade.
  • Tilt bed trailers, chassis, and handling equipment once delivered.
  • Accessories that have been installed or used.

These exclusions exist due to safety, certification, and resale limitations.

Return Authorization Process

All returns require prior written approval. To request a return:

  • Contact our support team within the eligibility window.
  • Provide your order details and photographs of the product.
  • Await return authorization and instructions before shipping anything back.
Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Please wait for written authorization and instructions before arranging any return shipment.

4.

Return Shipping & Handling Costs

  • Return shipping is free — we provide a prepaid return shipping label included with your approved return.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Returns must be arranged using our approved freight methods; we coordinate and cover the return freight.

Because we cover return freight on approved returns, please use our prepaid label and approved carrier so the return is handled smoothly.

5.

Restocking & Inspection Fees

Approved returns may be subject to:

  • No restocking fee is charged on approved returns.
  • Inspection and handling charges, if applicable.

If returned items show damage, excessive wear, or missing components, additional deductions may apply or the return may be rejected.

Refund Processing

Once an approved return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds are processed within 5 business days.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Deductions (shipping, restocking, damages) are itemized.

Refunds are issued only after inspection confirms eligibility.

7.

Damaged or Defective Items

Shipping damage. Customers must inspect the product before signing the delivery receipt. If visible damage is present:

  • Note the damage clearly on the freight document (Bill of Lading).
  • Refuse delivery if the damage affects usability.
  • Notify us immediately.
Damage not noted at delivery may limit recovery options.
Recording any visible damage on the delivery paperwork before the driver leaves protects your ability to make a claim.

Defective products. If a product is found to be defective, notify us within 14 days of delivery, do not use or modify the product, and we will assess repair, replacement, or refund options. Defects are handled according to manufacturer warranty terms where applicable.

8.

Manufacturer Warranty

  • New products include applicable manufacturer warranties.
  • Used or refurbished units may include limited functional guarantees.
  • Warranty coverage does not include misuse, modification, or normal wear.

Warranty claims are handled in coordination with the manufacturer or authorized service provider.

9.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders canceled before shipment may be eligible for a refund, minus administrative fees.
  • Orders canceled after freight dispatch are not refundable.

10.

Important Clarifications

  • Freight deliveries cannot be “returned like parcels.”
  • Missed delivery appointments or access issues may result in additional fees.
  • Refunds are not issued for buyer’s remorse after delivery.

This policy exists to ensure clarity, fairness, and operational sustainability.

How to Start a Return or Refund

To begin a return or refund request, contact our customer service team with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos are helpful when reporting damage or discrepancies.
