Shipping Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

This policy explains how Veltrix Elite Containers prepares, ships, and delivers your order, and what to expect when buying large equipment such as containers, trailers, chassis, and refrigerated units. We ship within the United States only. We do not ship, deliver, or export outside the United States under any circumstances.

1How We Process Your Order

Before your order ships, we take a little time to get everything right — confirming your payment, matching the correct unit and condition, inspecting it, and booking the freight carrier. Your order only ships once this is complete.

Here is roughly how long processing takes:

Type of UnitProcessing Time
New or in-stock units1–3 business days
Used, refurbished, or specialty units1–3 business days
Custom or modified unitsVaries by build — we confirm in writing
Processing time can change based on what we have in stock, the model you order, and any customization you request.

2Where We Deliver

  • We deliver to the 48 contiguous United States only.
  • We can deliver to commercial and residential addresses that freight trucks can reach.
  • Alaska and Hawaii are not served by our standard freight network. We may arrange delivery there only by special prior agreement, and additional charges apply.

3How Shipping Works

Because containers and trailers are large and heavy, they ship by licensed freight carriers — not regular parcel services. This means every delivery needs a scheduled appointment, planned site access, and confirmed weight and dimensions. Depending on your unit, it may arrive on a flatbed truck, a tilt-bed trailer, or a specialized hauler for oversized or refrigerated equipment.

4What Shipping Costs

We charge a flat shipping rate of $450 per order for delivery within the contiguous United States. This flat rate covers standard curbside freight delivery regardless of distance, unit size, or weight. Additional charges may apply only in these situations:

  • Deliveries to Alaska or Hawaii, which are outside our standard freight network
  • Residential deliveries that require additional access or handling
  • Requests for a liftgate, where the unit must be lowered to ground level
  • Forklifts, cranes, or other special offloading equipment arranged in advance

5Save Money with Depot Pickup

If you have your own transport, you can pick your order up from a nearby freight terminal (depot) instead of having it delivered to your address. We ship the unit to the terminal, they call or email you when it arrives, and you collect it yourself.

Depot pickup usually means lower freight charges, no residential delivery surcharges, and more flexibility — often the most affordable option for bulky items.

6Scheduling Your Delivery

Once your order is ready, the freight carrier will contact you to set up a delivery appointment, usually on a weekday during business hours. Please confirm your availability before the truck heads out.

If you miss a scheduled appointment, the carrier may charge re-delivery or storage fees. Keeping your contact details accurate and replying promptly helps you avoid these costs.

7What Happens at Delivery

Standard delivery is curbside. The driver places your unit at ground level at the delivery point, and unloading or moving it beyond the curb is your responsibility unless we agree otherwise in writing.

A liftgate can be added for an extra fee. Forklifts, cranes, or other special offloading equipment are not included unless arranged in advance, so please tell us about your site — driveway width, overhead clearance, and ground surface — so delivery goes smoothly.

8How Long Delivery Takes

Delivery time depends on distance, carrier availability, and freight routing. In total, most orders arrive within approximately 4–13 business days, combining order processing and freight transit. As a general guide:

Delivery TypeTypical Time
Regional deliveriesApproximately 4–7 business days total
Cross-country deliveriesApproximately 8–13 business days total
These are estimates, not guaranteed dates — freight schedules can shift.

9Inspect Before You Sign

When your unit arrives, inspect it before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt. Note any visible damage on the paperwork and take photos. If the damage affects how you can use the unit, refuse the delivery and contact us right away.

Damage reported after you sign — without noting it on the freight bill — can be harder to resolve because of carrier rules.

10Delays Outside Our Control

Sometimes delivery dates change for reasons no one can control, such as weather, carrier shortages, mechanical issues, or road and regulatory restrictions. We will let you know about any delays we are aware of as early as possible.

11Tracking & Communication

Once your order ships, we provide carrier contact details or tracking information when it is available. The carrier coordinates the delivery directly with you, and our team is always here to help with any logistics questions.

12Shipping Charges Are Non-Refundable

Once freight has been dispatched, shipping charges cannot be refunded. Deliveries that fail because of customer unavailability or site access issues may incur additional fees.

13Quick Checklist for a Smooth Delivery

  • Plan for processing time before your unit ships.
  • Prepare your site so a freight truck can access it.
  • Respond to the carrier promptly to schedule delivery.
  • Inspect your unit before accepting and signing.
